Black grams have a strong, rich taste. Rich in protein and highly recommended for vegetarian and vegan diet. Often used in South Indian dishes such as Idli, Dosa, Vada, Papadams, and because of their nutty taste, also in spicy curries, soups or salads. Soak time: approx. 12 hours. Cooking time: approx. 20 - 30 minutes.
