Active Ingredient: The Aloe Vera gel used in this line comes from certified organic cultivation and is extracted with mechanical methods without the use of chemical solvents.
Origin and history: Barbadensis Miller aloe (also referred to by the names of medical aloe, Linnaeus aloe vera or Lamarck aloe vulgaris) from Africa has adapted extremely well to the American climate and in particular to the Caribbean climate (the current name refers to Barbados). Succulent typical of the arid desertic areas of Africa, Spain, Australia, Texas and Mexico.
There are numerous testimonies relating to the use of Aloe Vera dating back to 3,000 B.C. The Egyptians; in 2,200 B.C. The Sumerians; and again to 1,500 B.C. The Papyrus of Ebers.
Numerous species of known ones: Aloe Vera, Aloe Ferox, Aloe Saponaria, Aloe Arborescens, to cite the most popular.

The term Aloe refers to over 300 different species of succulents.
Similar to a cactus, the Aloe belongs to the Liliaceae family.
Used with constancy in natural medicine since ancient times.
Fleshy leaves in the shape of a sword, slightly curved concave, prickle shaped at the edges.
By cutting the leaf of pure Aloe Vera, it is possible to extract the active ingredients with undoubtedly important benefits. By discarding the outer coating and film rich in anthraquinones, see Aloin, the thick jelly-like substance is obtained, hence the name Aloe gel. Almost all the civilisations that have used it have stressed the importance that Aloe Vera has had. It has been called: Plant of immortality: The Egyptians; Elixir of Jerusalem: The Templars; Silent healer: The Indians of America.
The main components of the Aloe Vera juice can be divided into: Water 99.4%. Solid part 0.5%. The gel is a liquid with a low concentration of soluble solids.
Minerals make up 0.103% of the gel.
The main sugars that constitute the polysaccharides are glucose and mannose. The focus is especially on glucomannan.
Bradykinin enzyme: bradykinin is a substance made up of a chain of amino acids: its effect is via vascular permeability, promoting the inflammatory processes.
Aloin: Its colour varies from yellow-green to dark yellow-green, intensely bitter, it can become dark in colour when in contact with air and light.
Chrystophanic acid: Known for the effective treatment of skin diseases including psoriasis and tricofitose.
Cinnamic acid: carminative, digestive action. Useful as germicide, fungicide and detergent.
Cinnamic acid ester: hydrolysing enzyme, light analgesic power.
Linina: substance similar to pulp, existing in a formation with the cellulose and component and the aloe leaf gel.
Treatment for the skin and hair:
The ingredients of the Aloe Vera gel have a great ability to penetrate into the human skin. Not only do they have antiseptic and cleansing properties but are also excellent soaping agents, used in cosmetics, for example, in shampoo.
Excellent anti-inflammatory drug, it is effective against sunburn, for small burns, and to counteract acne. Promotes cell regeneration, powerful regenerating agent for all skin types.
Suitable for dry skin. Also ideal for sensitive skin. Moisturising agent with the powerful ability to facilitate the penetration and absorption of nutrients through the layers of the skin.
