Agar-agar is obtained from certain varieties of algae, a naturally gelling and thickening agent that is widely used in plant foods. Ideal for making jams, desserts, jellies and meat jelly. With a neutral taste that does not change the taste of the recipes. The peculiarity of agar-agar, which distinguishes it from other types of gels, is that the "conversion" process is reversible: the gel redissolves on heating and gels on cooling.

Usage: Dissolve 2g sachet of 500ml of very hot liquid, stirring thoroughly so that no lumps form, the mixture gels on cooling.
