Справедливая торговля - это форма торговли и международное соглашение, которое напрямую и эффективно поддерживает находящихся в неблагоприятном положении мелких фермеров и производителей в развивающихся странах Африки, Азии и Латинской Америки. В рамках справедливой торговли происходит торговля продуктами, которые производятся в развивающихся странах и для которых установлены международные стандарты производственного процесса, такими как кофе, какао, чай, сахар, шоколад, тропические фрукты, рис, киноа, орехи, масло, золото, хлопок и так далее.

Пять принципов справедливой торговли: оплата по справедливой цене, запрет на эксплуатацию детского труда, обеспечение хороших условий труда, развитие местных сообществ и уважение к окружающей среде.
