Salt soap is used for acne, itchy skin, eczema, psoriasis, dandruff, cold sores, and warts. Salt has an antiseptic effect; bacteria, fungi, and viruses cannot survive concentrated salt and are destroyed. Salt soap soothes irritated skin, closes small wounds, alleviates inflammation, and reduces skin redness. Salt soap can be used as an aftershave instead of cologne. It accelerates skin metabolism, eliminates toxins, and helps reduce cellulite; use salt soap 2-3 times a week. For the best results, use salt soap in the sauna; salt accelerates subcutaneous blood circulation and helps eliminate waste through sweating. Salt soap is also an effective exfoliant. Salt may cause a slight tingling sensation on the skin, but this will pass quickly.

Usage: Rub the wet soap between your hands and then apply it to damp skin (for example, on the face). If you have sensitive skin, test a small area first to see if it is suitable. Let it sit for 15 to 30 minutes, then rinse off with warm water. After showering, rub the salt soap all over your body while exfoliating your skin, then sit on a sauna bench for a few minutes (up to 15 minutes) or wrap a large sauna towel around yourself. Allow the salt to work for a while (10-30 minutes) while enjoying warm herbal tea, and then rinse the salt off with warm water. Use instead of pumice stone.
