Black quinoa is suitable as a side dish with boiled rice, in salads and soups, or even boiled into porridge. It tastes good both cold and hot. Quinoa, or Chilean gooseberry, is one of the most popular health foods. Quinoa looks similar to a grain, but it is actually a member of the spinach family. Its seeds are gluten-free, rich in protein, and it is one of the few foods that contains all nine essential amino acids.
Ingredients: black quinoa from organic farming.
Preparation: wash the quinoa thoroughly on a fine sieve under running water. Then let it boil with twice the amount of lightly salted water. Simmer under the lid on low heat for about 10-15 minutes.
