A flour mix that you can use to bake apple pie or other fruit pies. The package contains two 225g bags of flour mix. If you are making a cake in a cake tin, one bag is enough. However, if you want to make a larger cake on a baking sheet, use the entire flour mix (2 bags).

Ingredients: rice flour*, beet sugar*, tapioca starch*, baking powder (raising agent: sodium bicarbonate, acidity regulator: monopotassium tartrate, corn starch*), rice starch*, thickener: xanthan gum, rock salt, vanilla*.

Preparation: prepare the fruits of your choice (for 1 bag of flour mix, use approx. 500g of fresh fruits or 200g of frozen berries or canned fruits). Preheat the oven to 180 degrees with top and bottom heat. Mix 1 bag of flour mix, 125g of room-temperature butter, 50ml of milk and 3 eggs in a bowl to form a smooth dough. To make the vegan version, use 50g of nut butter (e.g. almond butter), 150ml of plant-based drink (soy or oat drink) and 50g of soy yogurt for 1 bag of flour mix. Pour the dough into a buttered cake tin (approx. 26cm in diameter) or baking tray (if you want to make the cake on a baking tray, use 2 bags of flour mix and double the other ingredients). Then cover the dough with the fruits of your choice. Bake on the middle rack for approx. 45 minutes. The baking time depends on the fruit used. The recommended baking time for apple cake is 45 minutes, and for cherry cake, 30 minutes.
