Vitamin C is essential for many functions in the organism. Amongst other things, it makes an important contribution towards a healthy, vital immune system, healthy bones and cartilage and towards the protection of the cells against oxidative stress. Due to the acidic character of vitamin C, Ester-C® has been developed in which the vitamin C is bonded to calcium and L-threonate and thus becomes 100% acid-free.
