Himalayan salt is a fossil salt formed more than 250 million years ago in the Himalayan region and is the result of the drying up of primordial and uncontaminated seas. The perfect crystalline structure derives from the very strong pressures generated by the Himalayan mountains. Even today this pure salt is extracted manually from ancient salt galleries in Pakistan to bring this ancient condiment to our tables.
