Cosmoveda - Our company was founded more than 20 years ago as a purely organic company and differs fundamentally from other Ayurveda manufacturers who have not implemented the strict organic standards and certifications, or only very late and mostly only through sub-ranges. Preparation: put a bag in a cup, add boiling water and let stand for 3-5 minutes.
Kidney beans are very popular with their typically sweet, chestnut-like taste and their pleasantly soft, floury consistency. Like all legumes, kidney beans are also the perfect source of protein, especially for vegetarians and vegans. Red beans have a mild taste and can therefore be prepared in a variety of ways. Soaking time approx. 12 - 24 hours and cooking time approx. 60 minutes. Fair Trade.

Cosmoveda basmati rice is a real delicacy. Grown in areas surrounded by the untouched valleys of the Himalaya and irrigated by pure fountain water, it unfolds a special and exquisite nutty scent while cooking. The basmati rice forms the nourishing basis of tasteful and balanced ayurvedic and Indian dishes.

With a lovely salmon pink colour in its dried form, but it turns golden when cooked. These lentils cook faster than others. Red lentils are very popular because of its easy preparation. They are cooked without soaking and produce a tasty protein-rich side dish, puree or a delicious soup. Fair Trade.
Moth beans are the smallest beans in the world and have a very fine, nutty flavor. Rich in protein and highly recommended for vegetarian and vegan diet. They are excellent as a salad, but also as a side to fish, meat and vegetables. Cooking time: 20 - 30 minutes.
Nutmeg gives the food a delicate, slightly spicy and exotic touch.

Cardamom is suitable for seasoning desserts, pastries and hot drinks, and is often used in rice dishes and curries in Indian and Arabic countries.

Ghee is clarified butter that’s been heated and then stripped of milk solids, making it stable for high heat cooking. Ghee is often tolerated by individuals who are sensitive to dairy. It makes a nice substitute for butter. May contain lactose and milk protein.
Bay leaves have a tart, aromatic taste. They harmonize excellently with hearty dishes and are very popular for pickling cucumbers. Since the taste of bay leaves unfolds slowly, they should always be cooked with. To intensify the aroma, you can easily tear the leaves before cooking.
Black pepper is one of the best known and most popular spices. With its slightly pungent, spicy, aromatic taste, it is used in a variety of ways for vegetables and pasta dishes, salads, sauces and soups.
