Eukalyptuksen eteeristä öljyä pidetään antiseptisenä apuna iho-ongelmiin. Laimennettuna se sopii ihon puhdistukseen palovammojen, haavojen, herpeksen aikana. Shampooseen lisättynä voi auttaa pääsemään eroon hilseestä. Aromilampussa se auttaa vilustumiseen, avaa hengitysteitä ja voi myös auttaa karkoittamaan ei-toivottuja hyönteisiä.

Rantamintun eteerinen öljy stimuloi hermostoa sekä lievittää fyysistä ja henkistä väsymystä. Auttaa keskittymään ja torjuu unettomuutta. Sitä käytetään ihonhoidossa myös akneen, ekseemaan ja ihottumaan.
